No, I didn’t forget about Camp NaNoWriMo. It’s just that last Wednesday… well it wasn’t over yet and I had the little hope that in the last few days, I’d somehow manage to write some more. Spoiler alert, I didn’t.
For the ones who also did camp nanowrimo this april, how did it go for you ? Did you reach your goal(s) ?

I will show you my completed tracker and you will see easily that… I didn’t reach my goal. I’d aimed for 30,000 words this time, and I didn’t even reach 20,000 words in the end. I’m glad that I did more than half of it, but still, I’m a bit disappointed.
April was a busy month for me, but I still think I could have done better. I will not let this deter me though. I’m back to writing on a somewhat regular basis, so I hope I can keep going forward from here !
What I will remember from my first Camp NaNoWriMo : it really is not as popular as the NaNoWriMo from November ! I felt like no one was doing it, whereas in November everyone was talking about it everyday on social media. I do like the atmosphere, so it felt weird and way too calm this time. But it still worked for me since I got back into writing. Over the period of January/February/March, I had only written poems, so yeah. I needed to get back into writing more, and Camp NaNoWriMo helped me do that.
This is it for today. If anyone wants to share their Camp NaNoWriMo experience, feel free to do so in the comments section below ~
I hope you all have a lovely day, and see you next Wednesday !
Marie.
Did you get your rewards? ^^
I reached my goal (50k words) and it’s weird because I have nearly no idea what I wrote last month, I know I wrote my diary and took some notes about the MBTI/OPS while watching some videos about it (that’s why I managed to reach my goal, otherwise… lol) and I guess I write some scenes or ideas for my characters but for now, I let it rest.
Anyway, I’m glad you also did the challenge and will you do the Camp Nano in July? I’ll do it 🙂
